What do I do with my house?
A major question facing many seniors who are considering retirement living is "What will I do with my house?" That is a worrisome question for many.
At Somerset we have the solution!
We have created two great programs making it possible to move now. To determine if your house qualifies for either of these programs I (Chuck Bond, owner of Somerset) will visit and evaluate your house to determine if it qualifies.
Program A Rent-Your-House
We accept responsibility for renting your house. We have a rental manager and maintenance staff to take care of finding a renter and maintaining your house. You are given a monthly accounting of expenses and income. Somerset charges 9% of gross rent for
providing this service. Your net proceeds from rent will be applied to your rent at Somerset. To find out if your house is eligible, we will meet to determine financial viability and see if this is a workable plan for you. If so, we can move forward with the Rent-Your-House Program.
Program B Trade-in-Your-House
Somerset accepts your house as a trade-in. Net proceeds from trading in your house will pay your rent and expenses for living at Somerset. This is done with a Locked-In Prepaid-Lease that can last up to 5 years. You will pay less rent with the Locked-In Prepaid-Lease. Your rent savings will be substantial. To find out if your house is eligible, we will meet to determine financial viability and see if this is a workable plan for you. If so, we can move forward with the Trade-in-Your-House Program.
